  2. I read it before the picture appeared and my first image was of a young girl. Perhaps it is the same for both the young and the old?

    Really poignant when paired with the picture.

  7. This is beautiful and I especially like the multiple layers and interpretations possible! With the photo, your haiku is a poignant reminder of how the elderly wait and perhaps wish .... for vision..........for visitors.... for memories....for night to fall........for death too.
