I wish I could have had or presently have such conversation with my mother ... I have them with the Blessed Mother but not my earthly one! Thank you for sharing, Nimue. September Heights - Mercy and Grace
Not having my mom to talk to for these last few months have been the hardest. Something will happen and I will quickly think I need to call her about it but I cannot. Yes, a mother knows us best.
Thanks for sharing such a great motherly Haiku with us for this weeks Theme Thursday.
What a wonderful composed haiku on divine. Could be your mother, but also the Holy Mother. Thank you for sharing.

ReplyDeleteIf we are talking about my mother, she knew I wasn't telling the truth before I opened my mouth! My sister and I called her 'Dick Tracy'...
ReplyDeleteMy mother tells me that she knows I m hiding something but lets me take my own time to share that. And if i never , she would not ask :)
DeleteMothers do know! At least that's what my daughter says and yes, I think I can read her mind.
ReplyDeleteNice haiku.

i want to think that my daughter feels that way about me. there's no need to tell EVERYthing so long as what you do tell is true and she understands.
ReplyDeletea lovely poem and a really excellent take on the 'divine' prompt!
