Nimue this is ... a stunning post. Wonderful composed haiku set. Thank you for sharing these with Carpe Diem. I was nicely surprised when I saw your post several minutes after publishing this new episode of Carpe Diem. Thank you.
I like your haiku pair, Lady M. They fit me perfectly, I had lots of scars from my first marriage. Second marriage, first for her, has lasted 39 years so far. ..
Nimue, you are first, congrats!!! Well, same as Jim, my second marriage has healed the scars from past. It was my actual husband who sent me the first dozen of red roses. Thanks for sharing your beautiful haiku. :)
I like how the two haiku's blend the present with the past and the future. Love is probably the best healer of all time and the deeper the love the better the healing. I like how they walk on a bed of roses and sow the seeds for that tree of a happy life.
What a cool idea to put two haiku's together in such a way.
Happy Theme Thursday and may your weekend be full of blessings.
This is really nice set of haiku!:)
